Neurochemistry begins in the gut

March 21, 2018

Reading up on gut biome’s and wanted to share the latest research is showing what we know.  You are what you eat.  https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4367209/

Much of the chemical make up in our brain is built in the gut.  By nourishing our gastrointestinal systems with probiotic and fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, sour trout we maintain good positive bacterias that will help our cells produce healthy brain cells.  One study showed that bacteria in the gut can produce symptoms of anxiety and depression.  Eat well my friends!
